Fair warning: once you’ve worn a tri-blend tee, regular T-shirts might start to feel a little scratchy by comparison. Tri-blends mix three fibers, usually polyester, cotton and rayon, and it’s a team where everyone has a job. Polyester is the dependable one that keeps the shirt in shape. Cotton keeps things breathable and grounded. And rayon is the smooth talker, giving the fabric that silky drape that gets people reaching over to feel your sleeve and asking where you got your shirt.

Mixing all three also creates a soft, heathered look that feels pleasantly broken in from day one, kind of like the band tee you’ve owned since high school, minus the mystery stains. Prints soak up a little of that vintage charm, too, coming out with a softer, lived-in finish instead of a stiff patch of ink that feels like a sticker. Most tri-blends are lightweight, so they’re perfect for warm afternoons, easy layering and people who think a T-shirt shouldn’t feel like a commitment.

This collection is not a one-trick lineup. There are classic crews, V-necks and scoop necks, long sleeve tees, 3/4-sleeve raglans, henleys and even T-shirt hoodies, in men’s, women’s, unisex, youth and toddler sizes, so the whole family can be equally comfy. Brands like District, Next Level, Bella + Canvas, Allmade and Sport-Tek all bring their own spin to the blend. Breweries, boutiques, bands, fitness studios and merch brands with a little style love tri-blends for one simple reason: these are the shirts people actually wear, not the ones that end up as pajamas or car rags.

Not sure what sets a tri-blend apart from regular cotton? Take a look at our guide, What is a Tri-Blend T-Shirt?, for a quick rundown of the fabric, how it feels, and how it drapes.
