This naturally stretchy, silky fiber has long been esteemed as the synthetic answer to softness. It mimics high-end, luxury threads like silk and cashmere, but is way more affordable and easy to care for. With three different types of fabric, heathered coloration became an intrinsic part of the design for these long sleeve t-shirts. Heather blends are one way to give the shirt a rustic, vintage feel. The combination of light and dark shades of the same color also make applied designs stand out, by providing more contrast as a background.
