Description of Gildan SF008 / #02660
The Gildan SF008 Softstyle® Midweight 1/4 Zip Sweatshirt is for anyone who wants to look like they tried this morning without giving up an ounce of comfort. Slip it on and you’ll notice the inside first. It’s brushed, fuzzy and made with partially recycled fibers, so it feels a lot like a warm hug from the laundry basket. The outside is 100% ring-spun cotton, smooth and soft, and it takes a screen print or embroidered logo like it was born for the job.
Then there’s the zipper, which deserves a little applause. It’s color-matched, so it blends right in, and it locks in place, so it stays exactly where you put it. Zip it all the way up for a windy morning at the ball field, or leave it halfway down when the office thermostat starts acting like it’s July. Decorators will appreciate the 18 inches of open space between the bottom of the zipper and the waistband on a size large. That’s plenty of room for a big, bold chest design that doesn’t have to tiptoe around any hardware.
The collar, cuffs and waistband are 1x1 rib knit with a little spandex mixed in, which keeps them snug and springy instead of stretching out into sad, droopy versions of themselves by spring. It has a classic fit that’s roomy without being sloppy, and the tear-away label pulls right out so your brand gets the spotlight. Gildan partners with Better Cotton and uses OEKO-TEX certified low-impact dyes, too, so this quarter-zip is easy on the planet as well as your shoulders.
